SDAIP Celebrates IAIP Week

SDAIP installed new officers, recognized our committee chairs and presented our annual awards. It was a sold out event and a lot of great networking. The incoming President’s theme is Let’s Grow Together so I based the installation around her theme. The centerpieces were watering cans reflecting Grow, Learn, Engage, Connect and everyone was given a goody bag with a small planter, a seed pod and garden charms. The officers were each given a different garden tool based on their position. For example the Treasurer was given a garden rake and a garden fork. Sometimes you rake in the money and sometimes you fork it over! The incoming President’s tool was the Watering Can.  With the right amount of water growth cannot be stopped. Everyone had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs.
