Resident Hardin called the meeting to order at 2:04 pm EST.
Secretary Rachel Shubert conducted a visual roll call. All members and staff were in attendance except:
Motion to approve Consent Agenda which includes the May 2026 Minutes1, and the June 2026 Board Meeting Agenda. Mothing made and Motion Carried.
Topics of Discussion:
Financials:
- Reports for February through April 2026 Were posted to the board Group.
- The finance committee was able to meet ahead of this meeting. They have around 6 questions about the reports that they have sent to Bob to figure out.
- The convention chair would like everyone to include her in the Convention Travel reimbursement form that sent to Bob so she can make notes regarding the Convention costs.
- A motion was made effective July 1, 2026, to amend the signers on our bank accounts to include the 2026-2027 Current President Jonel Thames Leake, 2026-2027 President Elect Sue Quimby and our current Executive Director Bob McKinnon. To remove Lisa Hardin. This will be to conform to our current bylaws. Motion made and Motion Carried.
Management Report from Bob McKinnon
- Bob is working on M365 but he is having a lot of issues, and it is taking extra time
- To change a member from active to retired he must do each one individually
Bob presents us moving away from M365 back to YM or another option.

- They are working on links through the learning tab.
- LMS we had to renew our contract with Digital Chalk. The current classes and videos have a lot of data, and this is going to take extra time to move the data over to the LMS on M365. They first must put everything on YouTube.
Social Media
- They are transitioning Brenda McDermott away from Social Media and having Cap Hill take it over
- We want to set up a social media calendar for each month so Dante can have topics and items to post
- We now have an official IAIP Instagram page
Board Topics (all corresponding documents for each were posted in the board Group)
#1: Retake Fee presented by Jonel
- Remove the test retake fee of $10.00. This is not a money maker for IAIP, effective July 1, 2026. A motion was made to remove the $10.00 test retake fee from all IAIP classes motion was made Motion carried
- We will be working on updating all the class and quizzes that mention the test retake fee.
#1: Lifetime members local dues Billing Presented by Jonel
- It is recommended that Lifetime local members no longer send their local dues to IAIP Corporate for us to just sent back the money to the Local Association. This is a passthrough for IAIP and it is not an income earner for our association, and it is costing our association resources that could best be used in other areas. A motion was made to have the Lifetime Local member dues are not sent To IAIP corporate with the International dues but to have each Lifetime local member issue these directly to their local association. A motion was made and a Motion carried.
Year End
- Each RVP and EC member was asked to say one high and low item they have faced since our last full day board meeting. This was to summarize all the June board summaries that have been posted to the board group.
- A reminder for all EC and board members to review the task force reports and board summaries.
